Breaking Up
Breaking up sucks especially so when it is for the correct and sensible reasons eh? Ya.. it does.. Haiz.. Not that I have broken up with Chow Soon.. So ppl relax.. :) Haiz..
But even for normal love, as what my friend said, 'Love is so hard to find and so hard to keep' so so so true.. Hmm.. Ok shall not go future into this.. If not I m going to be depress again.. Dear friend, if you happen to be a reader of my blog, cheer up okies? I know asking you not to be sad is stupid coz of course it is sad.. Super duper some more.. Coz when you love someone, you accept that person.. So when u lose that person, its like losing a part of youself.. Haiz...

Ok Happy topic.. eh... virology prac was easy today.. I was so so so so dumB! The prof told us we would be test on this this this and this.. So I thought only the following would be tested.. BUT in the end, he tested EVERYTHING from the lab book.. I thought it will just be a 10 marks test but in the end, its a 60 marks test.. Hahaha.. But luckily can do.. =) *smiles.. *prouds.. Oh and as for bacteriology, the prac test sucks.. hahaha.. I think I am either going to fail it.. or just pass only.. Anyway I hate microbiology la.. And this is like Advanced Medical Microbiology la.. Even worst! Damn it! Shouldnt have taken this paper.. And exam is in less than 2 weeks and I have yet started studying.. SHIT!

Oh I am going to go watch my husband perform this Friday.. Going out with my hall mates to watch Pirates!!! Yippy.. So HAPPY! =) And Saturday going out shopping with my friends.. and going for Hell's Pizza after tat.. Yeah.. Yummy.. I m craving for pizza again anyways.. =)

Deprive of Happy Food
Suffering from withdrawal symptoms due to the lack of happy and sweet food here in NZ. Not only is there a serious lack of happy food, happy food cost a lot here.. And this is making me so depress.. =(
In Singapore, its like every weekend, me and Chow Soon will go out for food.. Sushi.. Western Food, and not forgetting rubbish food.. Roti prata, Mango Ice (mang guo bing), Cheesestick, Japanese Ball Ball, Japanese Rice Box, Donuts, Bubble Tea, Creeps, Bread, Cakes, Ice Cream, Fondule, Waffles, etc etc etc..
But now over here, what also dont have... =( And the above list apply to weekends outing only.. Weekdays, food/snack is never a problem at home or in school.. Fruit Juice, Honey Stars, Floot Loops, Biscults, Sweets, Chocolates... My house have a constant supply of them..
Oh man.. I need my happy food...
Happy food!!! I miss you tons and tons.. and lots and lots.. I cant wait to go back and reunite with you.. OooOoo..

Yeah it has been sunny these few days and I feel happy! It was so gloomy and dark last week.. Makes me feel so bored and tired too.. At least the sun is out! *Dear sun.. please come out everyday okay? Coz I love you.. Hehhehe.. =)

3 practical tests next week... Mon, Tue, Wed.. and I have yet prepare for it.. *Stupid~ Going to do so maybe tmr or Sunday ba.. Trying to start studying for finals already.. Coz its really near.. Like 3 weeks away.. And I still gong gong blur blur one.. Hehhe.. Coz I nv bother abt my papers up till now.. Hahhaha..

Oh received an email from JunJiang.. Read it before a few times already but I still read it again. Coz whenever I read it, it reminds me of what is important.. Here it is.. Read it once more even if you have read it many times.. Its good for the soul.. Hehhe..

The Mayonnaise Jar and Coffee
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle,

when 24 hours in a day are not enough,

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.

When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.

He shook the jar lightly. the pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full.

They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.

Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full.

The students responded with a unanimous "yes".

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.

The students laughed.

"Now" said the professor, as the laughter subsided,

"I want you to recognise that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are thei mportant things - your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions - things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your houseand your car.

The sand is everything else - the small stuff.

If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.

The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.

Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups.

Take your partner out to dinner.

Play another 18.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter.

Set your priorities.

The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes toshow you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

Cedric just sky dived last weekend!!! And he is sharing his experience with me now!~! He sent me a text after he jumped but it didnt went through.. OMG!!! I m so so so so jealous! But no money to jump already.. Oh man! I so so so so wanna jump.. Anyone wans to sponser my jump.. Oh... Big Bikkie
After lab today, I headed to the tiny shop in school to buy icecream.. Bought my favourite Big Bikkie... [Creamy cookie flavoured ice cream packed with big cookie chunks, smothererd in cookie crumbs and rich milk chocolate] Yummy Yummy.. =) Needed sth to cheer me up and the yummy ice cream certainly did (*just for a little while though).. of course it came with a huge price tag... ($2.80)

Oh and lab was so boring today with lots of incubation time that I decided to come up with a new line of glooves.. Nice???

Oh man! Shit!!! I missed morning lecture AGAIN!!!! It is just getting harder and harder to get up in the mornin due to the weather.. OMG! And that paper I think I missed like half of the lectures in all already.. Or maybe more???

And this Wed got test on Advanced Medical Microbiology.. Oh shit.. I hate it!!! And of course.. I haven finish studying yet.. And tmr is tuesday which means long long long long day.. Oh.. I m so dead.. *Pls.. Praying to higher power.. I just wan to pass everything.. =(

Oh and ~~Chow Soon said end of this year go TAIWAN!!!~~ Yeah!! *Happy.. Told my mum also already.. Then she ask me to save and work lor.. And she said if she have excess cash then she wans to go also.. =)

Lazy Sunday

Chow Soon came back yesterdae.. Then yesterdae morning when I went online to see Spore news.. I read abt 2 Singaporean NS guys died due to a crash in Taipei.. Thats where he is la.. Scare the shit out of me man.. Then went to read more.. Find out abt the name n time of the accident etc.. Then know his gp wont be involved.. Coz he msg me earlier on to say he is on his way to the airport already.. But still worried.. Even went Changi Airport webby to check his arrival time lor.. Then cant find.. Then till he reach home sms me and msn me liao then hmm ok.. Know that he is safe.. So scary =S OMG!
Oh and talk n talk n talk a lot yesterday.. but the stupid connection so lousy.. So our video call only he can hear wat I saying.. then he have to type.. Hahah.. Then ltr at night before I slp, we just use voice call and it was much better.. Both of us can talk.. Internet here sucks..
Oh and of course we quarrel a little yesterdae.. When would we not ever quarrel? I think never.. Oh wells.. Anyway after a while ok already...
Called him this mornin for nth.. Using skype.. and only talked for 4mins.. I think later when he really wake up and when I ask him if he remember talking to me he wont remember le lor..
Anyway it was so long since we last really talk la.. and see each other on webcam.. Its lile 6 weeks lor.. 1 and the half mths leh.. SO LONG! Ooo another 1 n the half mths then I going back spore le.. A part of me wan it to come quickly but another part dont wan.. hehe.. But I think more of wan la!

And how things are.. where you have been to etc etc.. But this doesnt seem to be the case for him.. He seems to have nth to tell me.. I wonder why.. Crazy Cancer Cells
Just got back from lab today.. **Happy.. =) Did an experiment that uses immunofluorescence test to detect antinuclear antibodies.. Anyway saw some cancer cells.. And at first I didnt know they were cancer cells coz we were suppose to look out for centromers that are brightly labelled green due to the secondary antibody.. Then for cells that are not dividing, you can see bright green spots distributed all thoughout the cell and there are like 46 of them.. Coz 46 chromosome mah.. Then for the cells tat are undergoing division, the centromer would be all lined up la.. Then ok thats nothing special coz we know all that.. Then suddenly, I saw centromer whose shape is like a pyramid.. I was like.. ''what phase is that?!'' then after that I saw a butterfly.. then I told my friend.. ''hey I saw a butterfly!''.. hahaha.. He was like.. "what???".. then I asked the lab tech why are some of the cells so weird.. As in their centromer.. then she was like "oh... they are cancer cells" No wonder.. So cool.. Cancer cells are really crazy.. everything is out of control. For the pyramid one, the cell is trying to divide into 3 instead of 2.. And for the butterfly one, I dunno.. Maybe it is trying to fly away??? Hahhaha..

Now I know why animals hibernate.. I am feeling the need and desire to go into hibernation mode too.. All i want to do is just to sleep now.. And I got no idea why.. I think it is because of the weather.. Its cold.. And it just makes u lazy.. I dont wan to do anything.. Not even getting up from bed coz the bed is so warm.. And u know once u step out of bed, u will feel cold.. And when u r showering, u dont wan to turn off the shower.. coz u know that once u do, u will be shivering.. And when it is time to leave the room, u feel sian again.. Coz its cold and super windy outside.. Sucks.. And because of these reasons, I have missed like 2 morning lectures this week already.. OMG!!! And the weather is only going to get colder..

So cant really study coz listening mah.. =) During weather report, it was reported spore highest temp is 33.. NZ highest temp today is 14.. Hahaha.. I will like melt when I go back to Spore lor..

Anyway Chow Soon went to theme park yesterdae.. at Taiwan.. Heheh.. then he told me he took the scary rides coz he think of me.. coz we always take all these together one mah.. Hahaha.. So funny.. *happy.. Then he said he trained already.. I hope so.. So that next time me and him can go sky diving already... Hahaha.. coz now no money to go sky diving here le leh.. FREEZING !!!
Its freezing cold outside now.. OMG!!! Just checked the weather report and it stated it is like 9 degrees outside.. And I was wearing jeans and my white adidas jacket only.. Time to pile on clothing already and become a big fat bear liao.. Brrr.. COld.. After the 1hr lec todae, I headed to the library determine to study.. But I was there for like less than 30mins only coz even in the library, it is still cold.. So walk fast fast with my short legs back to my room.. Turned on my heater before I left the room so my room was nice and warm.. =)

Oh and btw people, Prince William have broken up with Kate Middleton. He is second in the line of succession to the British throne. So girls, u can start holding sign pointing to yourself which says "I am the one for you"... Hahaha..

Upon walking in the common room, I spotted a mouse!!!! Ahhh.. Ran to laundry room to find Amy to ask for help... Hahaha.. Then I went to close my room door and hers too.. While she bravy pick up the eee mouse.. then she came to find me.. I was in her room weighing my weight abt to go out.. then she wanted to came in with the mouse and I ran to close the door.. Hahaha.. then she was like.. 'tats my room'... I was like 'ya i know.. u go away n take the mouse away first' hahaha.. Eeeee.. Cant take it..
Back frm the market.. bought lots of fruits and vege.. going to eat tons of them so that wont feel hungry easily.. DIET!!!! *This morning did sit ups also.. hhehe.. Lets see how many days can this sit up thing last..

Beating the low in energy spell...
Happy Happy Happy.. Came back at like 12.35am today.. Oooo.. Went to watch Spiderman 3.. And I like it... I like how everything is put together thought I think it is just a tiny weeny bit dragy.. =) But I still like it coz I love spiderman! Hehehe.. After the movie, went to some Jap van at IPC... Had some snack.. Yummy Yummy.. And did 60 sit ups when I got back.. haha.. Going to do a few more before slping.. =)
Movies and some supper would be an uneventful day if it is an outing in Spore but it Palmy, its great and an achievement to be able to go out till so late! Besides clubbing and their clubs here really sucks btw.. Frm the outside look in only know lousy already.. Its just some room with dim lights.. Yucks..
Oooo.. tmr going market!!! Time to stock up on vege and fruits.. Going to buy tons of them so that can snack them when hungry..

Finally I see the light!!!
The main light bulb in my room was fused for the past few days.. Finally, the maintainence guy just came over to change it!!! Oooo.. Love bright rooms.. Hate dark rooms!!! Told him my heater was spoilt but he said RSO didnt inform him.. Coz I informed RSO!! Damn it.. So its still freezing cold in the room.. And its cold now.. My hands and feet are freezing.. Its going to be like Antartica tonight.. Hopefully they fix the heater soon.. Coz he got to call the electrician!!! And electrician dont like to work on FRIDAYs!! What the hell.. We work EVERYDAY in spore.. RAIN or SHINE.. Oh well.. Dear electrician.. pls come and fix my heater tmr before I turn into a block of ice...

Dumbo and Fatty Nut
Went for the milkshake survey today.. Got to take my weight and that is when I realised I gained a total of 3.7 kg every since I came to New Zealand.. 3.7kg in less than 3 months.. OMG OMG OMG!!!! So damn heavy and fat.. Got a test later at 7pm.. Hope I can pass the test.. Sian.. I wan to pass.. I wan to pass.. I wan to pass.. Its only 6.16pm but it is pitch dark outside already.. Feels like midnight.. Blame it on the season.. Winter is coming soon and so the sky turns dark very early nowadays.. Wait till winter comes.. It will be dark when it is only 4pm.. I am determined to go for a jog after my test.. Come back.. put down my things then go for a run!!! Hehehe.. We shall see if I manage to do it.. =)

Family Dinner
Today's dinner was simply great.. we had a 6 course meal.. hehe... Pork Ribs, Chicken Wings, Dao Gay, Carrot with lettuce, Steam Egg and Fish.. And of course rice.. me and amy combined forces and we cooked.. so we had part of each other dishes.. =) So happy and yummy.. And my blueberry cheesecake is now in the fridge.. waiting for it to defrost a little.. Then I will have my dessert.. oh and ya with chocolate ice cream =)
