Great, let me continue with my South Island Trip blog.. the last time I left of, I was talking about day 5.. And was blogging on 2oth June.. So 6mths since the last South Island Trip, let me continue..

*Recap.. Day 5 was at Te Anau...

New Zealand- South Island Trip [Day 6]

So we drove from Te Anau to Milford Sound.. It was a long drive but along the way, we stopped by many places.. They were all so beautiful..

(1) Mirror Lake

This lake was called the mirror lake because the water was so clear and still that a really clear reflection of the entire mountain behind can be seen... I was a little disappointed with the Mirror Lake because when I read about it in Lonely Planet, I pictured a really huge huge place.. But due to the mountainous area and the lake, the man made area for us to take photos was really small n tiny... *Above, the best photo with me in it.. The rest look totally ugly.. The lighting there was horrible too.. Turning on the flash made me look like a ghost.. But switching off the flash, u couldnt c me at all...

(2) Lake Gunn Nature Walk

I totally love the forest here... Its so moss~y.. Its like some fairy tale land where I would meet some ugly monster.. Hahhaha.. And my prince will come and save me from that ugly monster which is just about to eat me alive...

Below: We reached the end of the track and we saw this.. calm beautiful water... =)

Damn.. I forgotten where is this place.. Anyway its somewhere along Te Anau and Milford... Hahha..

(4) Key Submit

We Climbed and we Climbed...

We walked and we walked...

And walked even more...

And finally we got to the top....

We need rest and sun block!!!!

Time to hit the road again... And this time all the way to Milford Sound for our cruise... The cruise was great.. the view was totally wow...

Before that we had to go thru this tunnel.. The tunnel is so narrow tat it is one way.. And each time we wait, we had to wait 15mins for the other side to come thru...

Yeah this is the little bird we saw while we were waiting for the lights to turn green.. Forgotten wats its call but apparently it is only found in the South Island... Watever.. I m not into birds..

*Next up.. Milford Sound...
